The HCPTS panel decided that paramedic Christopher Eyton-Jones should receive a two-year caution after he admitted 18 practice failures involving observations, referrals and patient records. It found a low risk of repetition because of his insight, remediation and subsequent practice, but found current impairment on public-interest grounds because the past failures were serious, repeated and could have harmed service users.
