Interim order extended(interim restrictions extended)
The GDC tribunal decided that dentist Andrew Larry Hill's conditions of registration should continue. At a review hearing on 22 July 2026, the Interim Orders Committee continued the conditions originally imposed on 16 February 2026 for the remainder of the 14-month order. The committee directed that the order be reviewed again within six months. The specific conditions are listed on Mr Hill's entry in the GDC register.

The GDC tribunal decided that the interim suspension on dental nurse Mark Nduku's registration should continue for the remainder of a 12-month order. The Interim Orders Committee reviewed the order on 22 July 2026. The order was first imposed on 19 August 2025 and is due to expire on 18 August 2026. The GDC said it will apply to the High Court to extend it, and any extended order would be reviewed under the GDC's statutory requirements.

The NMC found that Maureen Jindu Ugbah, a registered nurse, lacked competence across fundamental areas of nursing practice while working at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Trust in 2023, including patient assessment, medication administration, record keeping and escalation of concerns. The panel also found misconduct arising from her failure to cooperate with an NMC investigation, and that she lacked the knowledge of English needed to practise safely. It imposed a 12-month suspension order and an 18-month interim suspension order.

The NMC found that Gail Johnson, a registered nurse, administered controlled drugs to two patients without a second nurse present to check, and on one occasion gave morphine instead of the prescribed oxycodone. The panel found she asked two colleagues to sign the records afterwards, which it decided was dishonest, and that she did not tell one patient about the error. The Fitness to Practise Committee found her fitness to practise impaired and imposed a striking-off order, with an interim suspension order for 18 months.

The NMC found that Charlotte Louise Wood, a registered nurse, admitted the facts of most charges against her; one charge was not proved. The Fitness to Practise Committee decided her fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a conditions of practice order for 12 months, plus an interim conditions of practice order for 18 months. The panel accepted an application for the health case to be heard in private under Rule 19, so the details are not in the public record.

The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee found that Gemma Louise Palfreman, a registered adult nurse, prescribed medication to patients without a prescribing qualification and without consulting a GP, carried out two vaginal examinations on a 13-year-old patient outside her competence, and treated someone she knew personally. The panel also found she acted dishonestly on two occasions. It decided her fitness to practise was impaired and made a striking-off order, with an 18-month interim suspension order for the appeal period.
