Appeal dismissed
The GDC tribunal decided to dismiss Daniel John Lansdowne's appeal against his removal from the Dental Care Professionals register. The Registration Appeals Committee found that Mr Lansdowne, a dental technician, completed zero verifiable CPD hours in the period 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2025 against the required 10 hours. The Committee found that his absence from practice and being distracted did not amount to exceptional circumstances, and upheld the Registrar's erasure decision.
