Appeal dismissed
The GDC tribunal decided to dismiss Melissa Jayne Chamberlain's appeal against her removal from the Dental Care Professionals register. The Registration Appeals Committee found that Miss Chamberlain completed zero verifiable hours of CPD in the period 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2025 against a requirement of 10 hours. The Committee was not satisfied that her circumstances as a full-time student amounted to exceptional circumstances, and upheld the Registrar's erasure decision.
