Appeal dismissed
The GDC tribunal decided that Paul Daniel Cutus's appeal against removal from the Dental Care Professionals register was dismissed. The Registration Appeals Committee found he had completed only 9 of the required 10 verifiable CPD hours for the period August 2023 to July 2025. While it acknowledged his personal difficulties, no documentary evidence supported his claims of exceptional circumstances. His misunderstanding that CPD requirements did not apply while not working clinically did not excuse non-compliance. The original erasure decision was upheld.
