Appeal dismissed
The GDC tribunal decided to dismiss Rachel Jane Watts's appeal against her removal from the Dental Care Professionals register. The Registration Appeals Committee found that Miss Watts completed only 8 verifiable hours of CPD in the period 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2025 against the required 10 hours, a shortfall of 2 hours. The Committee found no exceptional circumstances and upheld the Registrar's erasure decision as proportionate.
