What does “practising with restrictions” mean?
Conditions of practice allow the practitioner to keep working but only subject to specific restrictions — for example, supervision, limits on certain procedures, or required reporting to the regulator.

The HCPTS panel replaced practitioner psychologist Sarah Sikpa's suspension with 18 months of conditions after finding that her insight had improved but was not yet complete. She must work under supervision, follow a development plan and undergo regular record-keeping audits before demonstrating that her learning is embedded in safe practice.
Charges
Ms Sikpa failed to complete care plans, risk assessments, clinical records and discharge paperwork for multiple service users, and failed to measure one service user's height and weight when advised to do so.
Findings
The review found that Ms Sikpa's insight had developed and the repetition risk had reduced, but she had not yet demonstrated full insight or embedded her learning in practice. Her fitness to practise therefore remained impaired. The panel replaced suspension with an 18-month conditions of practice order requiring supervision, development planning and record-keeping audits.
