He completed a Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2007, became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2021, and completed his specialty training in November 2023. Since September 2024, Dr Abdelrahman has been employed as a Locum Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. At the time of the alleged events, Dr Abdelrahman was working as an ST7 in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, part of the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. 3.
