Findings

The conditions include limiting practice to one substantive employer, direct supervision by a registered nurse when delivering wound care until signed off as competent in wound care management, and fortnightly meetings with a line manager or Clinical Lead covering medication management, physical patient observations, assessment and documentation of wounds, escalation of wound care, safeguarding in relation to reporting omissions of care, record keeping, and being proactive in asking for help, together with reporting requirements to the NMC. The order must be reviewed before the end of the next six months and every six months thereafter. The NMC Case Examiners are yet to decide whether there is a case to answer.
