Decision date: 8 April 2026 · Hearing started 8 April 2026

In plain English

The GDC tribunal decided that the interim suspension on Mr Latos' registration should continue. The Interim Orders Committee met on 8 April 2026 to review the order, which was originally imposed in July 2021 and has since been extended four times by the High Court, most recently in January 2026 for 12 months. The Committee said the existing suspension should remain in place for the remainder of that 12-month period. The order will be reviewed again within 6 months.

Findings

The Interim Orders Committee reviewed an existing interim suspension order originally imposed on 16 July 2021 for 18 months, subsequently extended by the High Court on four occasions (11 January 2023, 12 January 2024, 9 January 2025 and 12 January 2026), each time for a further 12 months. The Committee continued the suspension for the remainder of the current 12-month High Court extension. The order will be reviewed within 6 months.
