Charges
Mr Mann inserted a great-toe implant with the wrong laterality during surgery in October 2022 and left a trial-size implant in another patient's toe instead of the permanent implant during surgery in December 2022.

It found no current personal impairment or significant risk of repetition because he had genuinely ceased surgery, but found public-interest impairment because two serious incidents occurred and one patient required corrective surgery. A three-year caution appropriately marked the seriousness.
