Charges
Linda Joyce had been convicted at Humber Magistrates' Court on 21 April 2021 of driving with 99 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, against a legal limit of 35. The substantive panel found impairment on public-interest grounds and imposed a six-month suspension.
Findings
The review panel found no evidence that Linda Joyce remained impaired on the personal component and found that the conviction had been sufficiently marked by the criminal penalty, regulatory finding and six-month suspension. With no repetition during the order, it found her fitness to practise no longer impaired on the public component and directed the suspension to lapse at expiry.
