No impairment found
The MPTS tribunal found that Dr Hayes had discussed confidential patient information with a colleague in front of others, and had authorised a power cut that affected a pharmacy fridge storing medication. The tribunal concluded that these actions did not amount to serious misconduct. As a result, the tribunal did not find that Dr Hayes's fitness to practise was impaired, and no warning was issued. The hearing took place over two separate periods in February to March 2025 and November 2025.
