Erasure(struck off the register)
The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee found that registered nurse Alexandru Gabriel Jigoreanu was convicted at Leeds Crown Court on 27 February 2025 of making an indecent photograph of a child, contrary to the Protection of Children Act 1978. The panel decided his fitness to practise was impaired by reason of that conviction, noting he had shown no insight and had not addressed its concerns. It imposed a striking-off order, with an 18-month interim suspension order covering the 28-day appeal period.
