The NMC's Investigating Committee reviewed an existing interim conditions of practice order against registered nurse Anthony Obinna Onunkwo and decided to replace it with an interim suspension order. The panel, which met on 20 July 2026 for a virtual hearing that Mr Onunkwo did not attend, said the interim order must be reviewed within six months and every six months after that. Interim orders are precautionary and do not represent a final finding on his fitness to practise.
