The NMC's Investigating Committee found that an interim suspension order should be imposed on Mr Cooper for 18 months while the case progresses. The order will be reviewed within six months and every six months thereafter. Case Examiners have not yet decided whether there is a case to answer in relation to the allegations against him. Mr Cooper attended the hearing and was represented by his solicitor.
