    Interim restrictions imposed· 18 months

The NMC's Investigating Committee found that an interim conditions of practice order should be imposed on Ms Tweed for 18 months while the case progresses. The conditions limit her to one substantive employer, prevent her from being nurse in charge, and require direct supervision for contraceptive implant insertion, using patient group directions, taking patient histories and completing records until she is formally assessed as competent. Case Examiners have not yet decided whether there is a case to answer.
