The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee directed a striking-off order against Kahyana Emari Davis, a registered midwife from Bristol, on 16 March 2026 at a substantive order review hearing. Her registration had been suspended over two incidents of dishonesty in a clinical setting that put a vulnerable patient at risk, but she had not engaged with the NMC since September 2024 and had not demonstrated insight or remediation.
