   The NMC's Investigating Committee varied Katrina Cotterrall's interim midwifery conditions. They prohibit private or independent midwifery and require one substantive employer, same-shift supervision by a registered midwife and regular meetings and reports. Bank or agency placements must last at least three months. The varied conditions run for the existing order's remainder; Case Examiners had not yet decided whether there was a case to answer.

   Interim order imposed(interim restrictions imposed)· 18 months

   The NMC's Investigating Committee imposed an 18-month interim conditions of practice order on midwife Katrina Cotterrall at a hearing on 27 May 2026. The conditions restrict her to one substantive employer with supervision and regular reporting. No findings have been made against her: the NMC's case examiners have not yet decided whether there is a case to answer. The order will be reviewed within six months.
