Erasure(struck off the register)
The GPhC committee directed Russell Buglass's removal from the pharmacists' register on 9 May 2024 following convictions involving indecent images of children and other prohibited sexual images. It found impaired fitness to practise, limited insight and insufficient evidence of remediation. Although it recognised cooperation with the police and early guilty pleas, it concluded that lesser sanctions were insufficient and imposed an interim suspension pending removal taking effect.
