Erasure(struck off the register)
The HCPTS review panel ordered Hellen Wachepa to be struck off after finding that her fitness to practise remained impaired. The case followed convictions and dishonest failures to disclose charges or convictions. The panel considered further concerns about disclosure and a reference submitted in a colleague's name, and found insufficient insight or remediation after six months of suspension. It concluded that another suspension would not adequately protect the public or maintain confidence in the profession.
