The HCPTS panel found that paramedic Jessica Silvester's convictions for conspiracy to steal and burgle impaired her fitness to practise. The offending used confidential patient information to target homes where vulnerable or terminally ill patients kept prescribed opiates. Finding no real insight or remediation and a high risk of repeated dishonest conduct, the panel ordered her struck from the register.
