The HCPTS panel struck paramedic John Young off the register after he failed to engage with repeated reviews of misconduct involving an abusive message to a colleague. He provided no evidence of insight, remorse or remediation despite an extended suspension. The panel concluded that another suspension would serve no purpose and removal was needed to protect public confidence.
