The HCPTS panel found radiographer Smitha Johny's fitness to practise impaired by wide-ranging lack of competence that placed patients at risk. It initially suspended her for six months because she had shown no insight or remediation. After the Professional Standards Authority appealed, the High Court replaced the suspension with a striking-off order.
