At a review on 18 September 2026, the HCPTS panel found that Thomas Ashworth's fitness to practise was no longer impaired on either the personal or public component. It accepted evidence of insight, remorse and remediation following earlier misconduct findings. The panel allowed his existing suspension to lapse on its scheduled expiry on 9 October 2026.
