At a review on 4 September 2026, the GDC Professional Conduct Committee found that Gaurav Madahar's fitness to practise was no longer impaired by his conviction or misconduct and ended his suspension immediately. The earlier case concerned drink driving and a dishonest failure to report the charge promptly to the GDC. The review Committee accepted evidence of significant reflection and remediation and considered the risk of repeating the dishonest conduct minimal.
