The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee imposed a 12-month suspension on Benjamin Terkper after finding misconduct including sexual harassment of a colleague. Several allegations were not proved. The panel accepted significant insight and meaningful remediation but found that his learning had not yet been sufficiently tested in practice. It considered striking off disproportionate and required a review before the suspension ends. An interim suspension covers the appeal period.
