Other outcome
The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee reviewed Irena Sluszniak's existing suspension order at a meeting on 6 February 2026. The original misconduct involved failures to call an ambulance, monitor a patient's blood sugars, and document clinical actions on two separate occasions. Irena Sluszniak had not engaged with the NMC and had provided no evidence of insight or remediation. The panel allowed the suspension order to lapse on expiry on 12 March 2026 with a formal finding of impairment remaining, rather than imposing a further order or striking off.
