The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee reviewed an existing interim conditions of practice order in place for Lydia Edwards, an adult nurse. The panel decided to replace the conditions order with an interim suspension order while the substantive case against her continues. The interim suspension order will be reviewed within the next six months. No findings have yet been made on the substantive allegations against her.
