The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee extended Nadine Wilson's suspension for six months after reviewing earlier midwifery competence failings. It acknowledged further training and reflection but found insufficient evidence showing how learning had improved clinical practice or would prevent the failings recurring. The panel found continuing impairment and allowed more time to demonstrate improvement. The further suspension was to begin at the end of 17 October 2026.
