The MPTS tribunal found that Dr Muhammad Imran, a paediatric cardiac surgery fellow in Birmingham, physically and emotionally abused his partner Ms A over a long period. The tribunal said the abuse was serious misconduct and that his insight into what he had done was superficial. It suspended his registration for 12 months with a review hearing and imposed an immediate order of suspension. Dr Imran had returned to practise in Pakistan and relinquished his GMC licence in 2025.

The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee imposed a striking-off order on Susan Shuga, a registered adult nurse from London, on 26 March 2026. The panel found that, on 30 April 2015, she had provided Person 1 with a job offer letter from her own agency that contained falsified information, and that she had been dishonest in seeking to mislead any third party reading the letter into believing it was true. The panel concluded the misconduct involved an abuse of trust and that her absence of insight, remorse, and engagement made any lesser sanction insufficient. An interim suspension order of 18 months was imposed pending appeal.

The NMC accepted Lisa Marie Maidment's application for agreed removal from the nursing register on 26 March 2026. Maidment is a registered adult nurse from Devon who worked as a Practice Nurse Lead. The NMC's Assistant Registrar was satisfied that she no longer intends to work as a registered nurse, that a striking-off order was not a likely outcome, and that the public interest was best served by agreeing the removal. No allegation had been substantively proved.

The GDC tribunal decided to dismiss Nicole McGarrigle's appeal against her removal from the Dental Care Professionals register. The Registration Appeals Committee found that Miss McGarrigle completed only 6 verifiable hours of CPD in the period 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2025, against the statutory requirement of 10 hours. While sympathetic to her personal circumstances, the Committee was not satisfied these amounted to exceptional circumstances, and upheld the Registrar's erasure decision as proportionate.

The panel found that, as registered manager and later owner of Oldbury Grange Nursing Home between 2015 and 2021, she had failed to adequately implement systems and procedures in areas including infection control, risk assessment, nutrition, equipment maintenance, fire safety, and waste disposal, and that these failings exposed residents to a risk of serious harm. An interim suspension order of 18 months was imposed pending appeal.

The NMC's Fitness to Practise Committee imposed a six-month suspension order on Dhanwati Ramdarass, a registered mental health nurse from Hertfordshire, on 25 March 2026. The panel found that, as the registered provider and nominated individual of a care home as of June 2022, she had failed in her oversight responsibilities, including ensuring up-to-date medication administration training, adequate risk assessments for residents and for food hygiene, and proper safeguarding. The panel concluded vulnerable patients were exposed to a serious risk of harm and that she had limited insight, but accepted significant mitigation including the COVID-19 context and her training. An interim suspension order of 18 months was imposed pending appeal.

The MPTS tribunal found that the facts alleged against Dr Sharareh Brealey, the former Medical Director at GSK's Clinical Unit Cambridge, were not proved. The General Medical Council had alleged that between 2021 and 2024 she bullied six junior physicians and abused her senior position. The tribunal decided the evidence did not support those allegations and concluded the case at the facts stage without making a finding on impairment.
