The GDC tribunal decided that dental nurse Fatemazehra Naushad Mawji should be suspended for one month. The Professional Conduct Committee made the order on 5 August 2026, and the suspension takes effect after the appeal period. The GDC's notice of inquiry set out charges covering two sets of driving convictions in 2021 and 2022, a failure to tell the GDC about those convictions and about two criminal charges, and a failure to declare a conviction when applying for the additional title of dental therapist.
