The GDC tribunal decided that Mr Vasileios Avgeris, a dentist, should be suspended from the register for 12 months. At a review hearing on 24 July 2026, the Health Committee found that his fitness to practise remained impaired because of an adverse health condition. It decided that the conditions placed on his registration in 2024 were no longer workable, revoked them and imposed suspension instead. It also imposed an immediate suspension order.
