The NMC's Investigating Committee decided to make an interim suspension order for 18 months in respect of Angela Hazelaar, a registered midwife, who was not present or represented at the hearing. The NMC's case examiners have yet to decide whether there is a case to answer in relation to the allegations made against Ms Hazelaar, and no findings have been made. A panel will review the order within the next six months.
