    The NMC's Investigating Committee imposed an 18-month interim suspension order on adult nurse Anoop Thulasi Balakrishnan at a hearing on 17 June 2026, which he did not attend. The panel said the order will be reviewed within six months and every six months thereafter. The allegations against Mr Balakrishnan have not yet been dealt with, and the NMC will keep him informed of developments.
