The NMC's Investigating Committee reviewed an existing interim conditions of practice order on adult nurse Katharine Eleanor Hughes and decided to replace it with an interim suspension order at a hearing on 18 June 2026. The suspension order will be reviewed within six months. The NMC's Case Examiners have not yet decided whether there is a case to answer in relation to the allegations against Miss Hughes.
