The NMC's Investigating Committee decided that an interim conditions of practice order should be placed on registered nurse Sonia Deol for 18 months. The conditions limit her to one substantive employer, require direct supervision whenever she administers or manages medication, and require fortnightly meetings with her line manager about medication management and record keeping. The NMC's case examiners have not yet decided whether there is a case to answer. The order must be reviewed within six months.
