    The MPTS tribunal found that Dr Ian Hudson's fitness to practise was impaired by reason of his conviction and misconduct. In July 2024 he was convicted of two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child after sexualised online exchanges in 2023 with undercover police officers posing as children. He was sentenced to six months' imprisonment (suspended), placed on the sex offenders register for ten years and made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He had also delayed notifying the GMC. On 3 February 2026 the tribunal directed that his name be erased from the medical register, with an immediate order.

    The MPTS tribunal found none of the allegations against Dr Atif Zaman proved. The General Medical Council had alleged he behaved in a threatening manner towards Ms A on several occasions between 2017 and 2021. The tribunal found inconsistencies in the supporting witness evidence and could not verify the dates of disputed photographs, an email and WhatsApp messages relied on by the GMC. On 30 January 2026 it concluded that the GMC had not discharged the burden of proof and that Dr Zaman's fitness to practise was not impaired.

    The MPTS tribunal found that Dr Mark Elias's fitness to practise was impaired by reason of his conviction. In January 2025 he was convicted of outraging public decency after performing sexual acts in public on a train in September 2024 and was sentenced to eight weeks' imprisonment suspended for 12 months. The tribunal placed the conviction at the higher end of the spectrum of seriousness but accepted he had shown good insight and self-referred to the GMC. On 30 January 2026 it directed suspension of his registration for six months with no review, and imposed an immediate order.

    The MPTS tribunal refused Dr Mohit Chhabra's application to be restored to the medical register following his erasure in 2018 for misconduct and deficient professional performance. The tribunal found further proved allegations including offensive and threatening emails and telephone calls to MPTS and GMC staff in 2017, dismissal from a Healthcare Assistant role for misconduct in May 2023, and dishonest answers in his January 2025 restoration application. On 30 January 2026 it refused the application and directed that no further application can be made for 12 months.

    The MPTS tribunal found that Dr Ronald James's fitness to practise is no longer impaired by reason of misconduct. The review tribunal directed that his conditions of practice be revoked with immediate effect.

It noted he had previously been erased for dishonesty in 2012 before being restored in 2020, and found limited meaningful insight and a risk of repetition.
